Joshlynn Ervin
Hola! My name is Joshlynn Ervin and I am excited about being Las Brisas' Spanish and Global Studies Specialist. I have taught for over 11 years and have degrees in Spanish, English as a Second Language, and Psychology. I wholeheartedly believe that all students have the capacity to learn and grow and I am dedicated to helping your child succeed to their full potential. My teaching philosophy focuses on the concept of maintaining a positive affective environment in which your child feels safe, valued, respected and included. Our classroom will be interactive, engaging, and FUN!
I love to read, spend time outdoors, travel and meet new people! Thus far, I have visited 16 states and 6 countries. In the future, I plan to visit many more! Also, I have a strong love of languages and speak fluent English and Spanish, as well as novice French, Portuguese and Mandarin. My desire is to share my experiences to spark the interest and curiosity of our students. There is so much to gain through acquiring language abilities and global awareness!
