Hello New River Families! Welcome to Kindergarten! I am Susan Cary and am very excited to be your child's teacher this year!!  I have been teaching for over 25 years and have spent most of my teaching career in Kindergarten and as a Reading Specialist. This will be my 17th year in the Deer Valley district. I LOVE helping kids learn, build social skills and confidence so they may continue their love of learning.  They are our future! I have been married for 27 years and have 2 children. I love to relax by the pool and spend time with my family and friends. I believe strong communication and working together is crucial for your child's success. We are on the same team and want what is best for your child. I am looking forward to a great year!
