Hello Arrowhead Families! 

My name is Ms. Dona Jones.  I am excited to be your child's 5th  grade ELA  teacher this year.  This is my first year teaching fifth grade at Arrowhead. I have been teaching for 27 years, including six years as an Elementary Principal. I earned my Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration at Concordia University-Irvine,  and my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Prescott College.  I also have an Associates Degree from Brigham Young University, Idaho.

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and have lived in the Phoenix area for 8 years. I have four children, and three grandchildren ages 8, 10, and 16. I have two dogs - Zeus and Kash. I enjoy coaching track and field, traveling, and watching movies.
