My name is Savannah Chavez, and I am so excited to be a reading teacher again this year. This is my ninth year teaching at Sunrise and my second year as a reading specialist. I believe in creating a classroom environment where students feel excited about learning and feel free to try new things. I place great emphasis on respect and responsibility both inside and outside of the classroom. My goal is to find the best in each student and build upon that each and every day. I look forward to a wonderful year together!
