I have been teaching Earth Science for 19 years. I grew up in Colorado and got my teaching degree from the University of Wyoming. I have always wanted to be a teacher and have a love for science in particular. When I started college, I walked into the School of Education and said, "I love rocks and stars and want to teach." The counselor said, "We have just the subject for you: Earth/Space Secondary Science." I instantly fell in love with the program and have been teaching Earth Science ever since! I grew up an outdoor enthusiast and actually enjoy the ability to read the story of my surroundings. There is just so much time wrapped up in the beautiful landscapes! I love getting to share my passion with my students and hope I can inspire them to look at the outdoors with love and enthusiasm too.
