Ms. Gaytano
I’m Ms. Gaytano, and I’m over the moon to have you all here! Creating and exploring art is one of my major passions in lifeand I am overjoyed to guide creative minds through their own artistic journey.
I can't wait to start my 3rd year here at Terramar! I was born and raised right here in Phoenix, Arizona. I earned my BFA in Art Education from Arizona State University after being a student myself in the the Deer Valley Unified School District.
In the classroom, I will encourage students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes, as this is part of the art learning process. I believe every student has their own unique artistic vision and I will be here to help bring those visions to life!
Together we’ll go on a journey through the world of creativity and imagination. From drawing and painting to sculpting and crafting, we’ll explore different ways to incorporate the Elements of Art within our projects!

My favorite colors are dark blue and purple. I function through iced coffee.
I have a strong admiration for seals and cats. I love snacking on dark chocolate and anything spicy.
