• Welcome back to the 2024-25 School Year and the Kroeger Crew ELA block! I am so excited to make connections between stories with you this year and adventure into far away lands to see what life could look like there. This year we will explore the essential question "What Does it Mean to be Human" through Standards-Based learning. The year will be divided into three major units and examining literature through 3 different essential questions, "What do I stand for?" "How do my experiences shape who I am becoming?" and "What Does it Mean to Grow Up?" Each unit will include a set of essential standards in literature and non-fiction, a novel study of students choosing, and a summative project. I look forward to a fun year of growth and learning with you!
