    AP UNITED STATES HISTORY

     
    This course prepares students to take the Advanced Placement Examination for the College Board in United States History. This course includes analysis of major events in United States and Arizona history from the colonial period to the present. Class requirements may include summer readings and projects. Enrolled students are expected to take the AP exam in May.

    AP HUMAN GEOGRAPHY

    This course introduces students to the systematic study of patterns and processes that have shaped human understanding, use, and alteration of the Earth’s surface. Students employ spatial concepts and landscape analysis to examine socioeconomic organization and its environmental consequences. Enrolled students are expected to take the AP exam in May.

    DUAL ENROLLMENT US HISTORY 

     
    Dual Enrollment US History is for college bound students planning on attending an Arizona public community college or university. Students take dual enrollment classes and earn both high school and college credit concurrently.  This class provides the foundation for students to work towards an Associates or Bachelor’s degree assuming students achieve a "C" grade or higher.
