Welcome AP Students!
Exam will take place May 3rd, 2022 at 12:00p local time.
This course aims to advance and transmit knowledge related to the nature of psychological processes, provide a strong foundation in the basic knowledge necessary for study in psychology and related disciplines, and to provide the competence in mental health awareness.
This AP course will introduce the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings. The curriculum for this class is based on the Advanced Placement Course Description published by The College Board.
Materials Needed:
- 3 Ring Binger (2" or bigger)
- Tabbed Binder Dividers

Canvas Classroom
- All assignments, announcements, and current class updates will be posted in Canvas.
College Board Classroom
- signup infomation will be provided in Canvas based on section number
- Standards and objectives can be found in the AP Psychology CED course guide
Myers Psychology for AP 3rd Edition Textbook
- Textbooks will be provided in class but may rent one at the bookstore to have home copy.

Remind: you can download the app, sign up online, or follow text below. Parents are welcome to join.
Purpose: to send out important reminders or immediate information that pertains strictly to class material. Example: Study sessions, exam/homework reminders, materials needed for the following class, etc.

I am the club sponsor for the psychology club. The mission of this club is to spread awareness of the wonderful field of psychology and what it offers. We focus on fighting the stigma of mental illness, learning about the mind and how we think, learning how to read research papers, or anything else you are interested in.

Welcome in!
I am the sponsor for the Brain Bee Club. We are a small club that enjoys learning about neuroscience and hope to be in the medical, research, or behavioral health field someday. Annually, we strive to compete in the International Brain Bee (IBB) and have some friendly fun. You do not need to compete in order to be a part of the club.
IBB Mission:
The primary goal of the IBB is to motivate students to learn about the brain and to inspire them to pursue careers in neuroscience so they can help treat and find cures for brain disorders.
Perks of IBB:
- The IBB offers scholarships and for placing and opportunities for high school students to help them get into college.
